Abacus Math is the result of the hard work of a team of parents and teachers who believe that proficiency in math is a must for any individual to succeed in life. Soroban, a Japanese abacus, is best used as a visual aid in helping children comprehend and establish strong math skills. Strong basic math skills are needed to excel in algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, chemistry, physics, account, economics, geography, nursing, arts, architecture, and many other subjects. Strong math knowledge is the backbone for success in any profession.
Soroban, developed in Japan, is an extremely valuable tool because it perfectly fits with the base-10 number system used at present. Consequent mind math skill developed will enhance a child’s whole brain development, as claimed by “The League of Japan Abacus Association”. As parents we love to see little faces light up when they understand a concept and realize their accomplishments. This is the motivating factor for our organization and curriculum. Being able to do basic math mentally boosts your child’s confidence to a whole new level. The benefit of this confidence can also be realized in all other subjects the child tends to learn. Helping your children gain confidence and realize that they are geniuses is the goal of our organization and program.
